Claudia, our unstoppable leader!

| Dear Prospera friends and supporters, On behalf of Prospera’s board of directors I’m delighted to share some exciting news at Prospera. As you may already know, this year, the board officially welcomes Claudia Arroyo as our new Co-Executive Director. Please join me in congratulating her! I’d like to tell you a little bit about Claudia and why we have chosen her to join Maria at the helm at this particular moment of Prospera’s life. As Prospera’s Community Education Director over the last 4 years, Claudia has been the architect of Prospera’s innovative cooperative training and educational programs that connect hundreds of Latina entrepreneurs to each other and to Prospera. In so many ways Claudia is the reason our relationship with Latina entrepreneurs is trusting, vibrant and growing. As an immigrant herself, Claudia connects deeply with the entrepreneurs in our program and understands from direct experience the many hurdles they encounter on a daily basis. She is an inspiration to all of us and we are certain that her leadership will have an impact beyond our wildest imagination. By example alone, Claudia will inspire other Latina immigrant women to step up and recognize their powerful place in our community. And of course, we know that she will not stop there. We look forward to seeing her flourish as a leader, infecting all of us with her unstoppable energy. If you have ever met Claudia, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.
