Para Todas is a podcast by and for immigrant women entrepreneurs dedicated to cultivating our collective power. Para Todas is a project of Prospera, an organization that partners with Latina entrepreneurs to create businesses that promote cooperation, economic independence, and the well-being of our communities.

Este undécimo episodio conversamos sobre el concepto de Echar pa’lante. Como salimos adelante en medio de las dificultades y cómo encontramos oportunidades en medio de las crisis. Y en esta ocasión hemos invitado Ingrid Sánchez, esposa, mamá e hija apasionada por servir a los demás, emprendedora tenaz fundadora de Niños Sanos, Seguros y Felices, y participante de los programas de Prospera. Con Ingrid nos adentramos en su historia de como ella ha “Echado pa’lante” en su viaje como migrante, como emprendedora y como hizo frente a sus retos de salud. Episode 11 – Moving forward with Ingrid Sánchez and Claudia Arroyoyo. 

In this eleventh episode we talk about the concept of “Echar pa’lante / Moving forward.” Meaning, how we move forward in the midst of difficulties and how we find opportunities in the midst of crises. This time we invite Ingrid Sanchez; a tenacious entrepreneur, founder of Niños Sanos, Seguros y Felices, wife, mother, and daughter who passionate about serving others, and participant of Prospera’s programs. Our tenth episode is dedicated to talking about the Butterfly Effect. How the innocent flutter of a butterfly can change entire systems. How did the person who believed and bet on you change your life? What would your life have been had you not immigrated? What are the flutters that you have made that impacted the lives of others? We talk about it with Eva Saavedra, the Founder of El Huarache Azteca restaurant in Oakland, and Mayra Chavez, Director of Community Engagement with the City of Oakland, and explore how their roles as mother and daughter have influenced and shared this Butterfly Effect. Episodio 9 – El “Fueguito” Prospera con Claudia Delgado, Elisa Santillan y Claudia Arroyo

En este noveno episodio abrimos las puertas y ventanas de nuestra casa, su casa. Episode 9 – Prospera’s “Little Flame” with Claudia Delgado, Elisa Santillan and Claudia Arroyo

In our ninth episode, we open the doors and windows of our house, your house. We want to introduce a little more about Prospera. What is behind our organization? What are our values? How do we take care of ourselves? How do we get along? And we’ll do it hand in hand with two members of the Prospera team, Claudia Delgado and Elisa Santillan. Claudia, Director of Finance, Operations and Human Resources, originally from Colombia, is passionate about serving her migrant community, and has been involved with various cooperative and social justice projects. Elisa, Business Success Coordinator, originally from Mexico, has extensive experience in finance, made a turn both professionally and personally when she arrived in the United States, and is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. We hope that after listening to this episode you can feel a little more of Prospera’s “Little Flame”

Episode 6 – Honoring Our Roots with Jenny Conejo & Claudia Arroyo

In this sixth episode, we talk about the importance of Honoring Our Roots; our ancestors, our language, our customs, our values, our culture, our community. As well as how facing internalized fears or traumas can prevent us from honoring all our roots to our full capacity. For this topic, we invited Jenny Conejo, an enterprising woman as great as they come, an Otavaleña indigenous woman from Ecuador and an immigrant who will tell us about how her roots nourish her and keep her in a new reality with different customs, language and culture, and how this has marked her to be the woman and leader she is today.

In this episode, we discuss our own inner strength and collective power. Episode 2 – The journey of unlearning with Ana Castaño & Claudia Arroyo

Unlearning is a liberating practice and that is why today we invite you to join us so that we can reflect together on everything that we have had to unlearn; a thought, a belief, a prejudgment about you or another person, and how this unlearning has impacted us to be the person that we are now.
