Anahi Rojas
Former Cooperative Development Fellow (2015-2016)
Anahi Rojas is from Guanajuato, Mexico and migrated to the United States about 10 years ago. She is the proud mother of Emmanuel and Alexa. Anahi has ample experience in the world of cooperatives having been a worker-owner of an eco-friendly housecleaning cooperative for over 7 years. Being in a cooperative gave her rewarding experience of making business decisions with her fellow Socias (worker-owners,) holding various leadership positions and being an owner! Anahi believes deeply in the cooperative model, since she has witnessed first hand how her sense of individualism was transformed to a community first mentality. She has just completed her yearlong Cooperative Developer Fellowship with Prospera Co-ops, where she developed an individual development plan, co-facilitated sessions and provided support to emerging founders in the program. She is currently working toward becoming a cooperative developer and providing consulting expertise on cooperative communications and governance.
