Our Spring program is in full bloom!

ADA RECINOS

The entrepreneurs in our program have been hard at work! They are meeting biweekly, receiving ongoing technical assistance from our Business Development Director Karla C. Reyes, MBA and expert support from guest presenters. Our program participants have been learning about the many financing options available to businesses like theirs. This includes the process and requirements of a loan application, and how to do financial projections. Read highlights from two of our cohorts below:

  • El Cafesito– This group imagines a collaborative cafe-style space serving local foods and responsibly sourced coffee. The ladies have been scouting locations for their cafe business, and are excited to be moving forward! Most recently, the have revamped their business model canvas and are now working on their menu and recipes.
  • Fruitland– This business will focus on speciality fruit design and catering for large events. The women in this cohort have already registered their business name and are working on creating partnerships with restaurant owners and commercial kitchens to partner with!
We are excited to see these cohorts grow, develop and ultimately launch! We look forward to keeping you updated on their progress and how you can continue to support these entrepreneurial ladies! Make sure to follow us on FacebookTwitterLinkedin and YouTube to receive the most recent program and Prospera updates!
