Dear Prospera Family,
As we close out 2024, our hearts are full of gratitude and pride for everything we have achieved together. This year has been a beautiful reminder of the collective strength, talent, and resilience that define our community. Your unwavering trust in our work propels us forward, reaffirming that we are walking the right path.
Together, we accompanied over 380 Latinas through our programs, celebrated the graduation of more than 150 participants, and dedicated over 1,190 hours to technical assistance and one-on-one coaching. We also raised $72,000 in direct access to capital for our women entrepreneurs. Yet these numbers tell only part of the story.
We celebrate women like Pilar, who took the courageous step of leaving her job to focus entirely on her business. Today, her products are proudly featured in 27 stores and cafes across the Bay Area. We also celebrate Glenda, who grew her customer base, expanded her team, and is now preparing to welcome her third employee.
Stories like these remind us that when we come together, we transform individual dreams into collective achievements that ripple across families and entire communities.
This year, we also took bold steps to address challenges often left in the shadows. Through our Soy Rebelde y Me Apapacho campaign, we emphasized self-care as a revolutionary act—a vital response to a world that too often prioritizes economic outcomes over people. With the Randi-Randi Fund, we worked to dismantle structural barriers, paving the way for Latina entrepreneurs to access capital and laying the foundation for a more just and inclusive financial system.
Every step we take together reflects what is possible when we act as one. Beyond building businesses and cooperatives, we are building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
