Dear Prospera community,
With a heart full of gratitude, I would like to thank the entire Prospera team, the volunteers, the women participants, and every person who made it possible for us to celebrate the 9th Women Entrepreneurs Summit together this past Saturday, September 13.
The theme that guided us was Vindication, Dignity, and Collective Power. These words were present in every space of the Summit:
- In the Lightning Chats, where women shared their wisdom and courage.
- In the interactive conversations and round tables, where we listened to each other and dreamed together.
- At the Mercadito, where entrepreneurs proudly offered the fruits of their labor.
- At the information tables, where our partner organizations came together, reminding us that collaboration is essential.
And also at the raffles and potluck, where so many individuals and businesses generously donated, and we even had leftovers. There we remembered that if you have little, I have little, then together we have a lot.
We are grateful for the generosity of the organizations that funded us, SELC and Kaiser Permanente, but also for every person who donated their time and money to make this magical event possible.
In times of uncertainty and pain, collaboration and community remain deeply healing. Embracing our stories allows us to recognize and listen to each other.
- We are resistant when we celebrate and refuse to fade away.
- We make history by remembering who we are.
- We are unstoppable when we embrace each other in community.
Thank you for being part of this movement. The Summit would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
