I want to share something that filled my heart this year.

In late 2025, we launched Randi-Randi, our revolving loan fund, and in February 2026, four entrepreneurs from our community received their first loans. For several of them, it was the first time — they never imagined a loan could be possible for them — and seeing them say yes, seeing them take that leap, is something that still moves me.

Randi-Randi is a Quechua word meaning “the balance between giving and receiving,” and that’s exactly what happens here. There’s no credit score, no collateral, and not a single dollar in interest, because we know traditional banking has left so many women out.

What we do ask for is something more meaningful: that they be active members of Prospera, that their business already have sales moving, and that they’re willing to invest their time and energy. Instead of paying interest, each entrepreneur contributes hours to our time bank, offering what she knows how to do — a workshop, a service at an event, her food, her talent — giving back to the community what the community gave her.

With that money, they can breathe and grow: buy equipment they needed, cover rent for a storefront or food truck, take a course, hire someone, or finally break free from the high-interest debt that was holding them back.

And the most beautiful part is watching them decide together, because the fund is governed by a committee made up of the entrepreneurs themselves, where each woman has a voice and a vote. They are the leaders — we simply walk alongside them.

We believe in something simple: when a woman moves forward, her family moves forward, and her whole community moves forward with her. That’s how wealth is built — the kind that passes from generation to generation.

Every dollar counts, and your support helps more women experience the joy of their first loan. Will you join us? Let’s grow this circle together.
